‘On Saturday 18th November, Chairman Neville Harrison and committee member John Parry put up signs at the Northern start of the Egrets Way in Ham Lane as well as a reminder to cyclists at the current end of this section that permission is not granted to ride a bicycle along the top of the flood bank.

A Welcome addition to the Egrets Way
Following on from the planning approval for holiday Lodges at Swanborough Lakes is a proposal to create new off-road multi-user paths which, going east, will connect the lodges to the Egrets Way at Spring Barn Farm, and going to the west, to the South Downs Way via Swanborough village.

Join The Egrets Way
Trails group planning is progressing well following our wonderful Ouse valley walks, support for our network of shared walking and cycling trails proposal was recently offered by Norman Baker and the meeting with ESCC Economics, Transport and Environment Dept people today went very well... so far so good... but there is a lot of work ahead... Luckily we have a great team who are up for this challenge!
