Vans on Egrets Way to be approved?

We need your help to stop vans being allowed to use the shared path at the Lewes end of Egrets Way. The planners are recommending this proposal to be approved. Please, please, please raise your objections to this terrible idea. More news here: http://cycleseahaven.org.uk/ew8/

Piddinghoe Parish Council Meeting - 14th July 2015

Are OVCN going to comment on the proceedings at the Piddinghoe Parish Council meeting this week? My feeling is that strong residential support for Egrets Way is not being represented by the elected officers of that parish.

Progress?

May I enquire as to progress? First completed mile fantastic but not much use on its own for most of us.

Also, I would be interested to hear views on sharing with horses. In my experience bikes and horses are not a good mix,...likewise bikes and ramblers but there is already afootpath on the levee so hopefully that won't be a problem.

Make a difference and support the Egrets Way planning application

Dear supporters of Egrets Way,

With planning permission currently being sought for an end-to-end shared route alongside the river, we're as close as we've ever been to seeing this wonderful scheme actually happen. The very best thing you can do right now is to log in to the planning portal website and leave comments of support where they will be officially reviewed by planners and councillors.

A number of objectors have already left comments,…
